I did get some resolution on this issue by calling the vendor.
Apparently a 19" two-sided ballot that has approximately (altogether
given 3 cols I think) 300 lines in it (but could have more if font size
were reduced) and so it is larger in capacity than the largest
punch-card which apparently is 228 punch-holes is use-able in the system
under consideration in Utah.

I must now try to dispel the false rumors that have influenced
everything the Utah Election office and Utah voting equip. select cmte
has done since at least January in misinforming the public. I plan to
do this with a series of two or three press releases, beginning today.

I will be sending out a press release soon, to a nationwide press list
re. Utah's selection and hope you will not mind if I send a copy to the
OVC list FYI.
