Hmmm... while I -can- edit archived messages, describing it as a
complete PITA is understating the trouble. The fact I don't actually
-believe- that that's his only source of his spam probably doesn't add
to my enthusiasm. Why was his email address in the body, anyway?...

However, if Jim can provide me with a *complete* list of the exact URLs
where his email address is mentioned (I suppose playing with google), I
suppose I'm willing to write a script to munge them. Largely, I don't
want to set the bar-for-entry to such manual editing of the archive
very low. It's something I want to avoid doing WHENEVER possible.

There was one past case where I manually redacted a couple messages
because of what seemed to be legally compelling reasons, and after
discussion among the board. This case seems much more whimsical IMO.
I don't want to move down a slippery slope to correcting people's typos
or mis-phrasings every time they press "send" too soon.
