Amen!

A lot of new subscribers repeatedly complain about not understanding
details of OVC, while steadfastly refusing to read Karl's excellent
FAQ, the EVM2003 pages[*], or the searchable mailing list archive.

Please, please, please! Before asking if we've ever thought of some
very basic detail--or indignantly complaining that we overlooked
it--try doing a little background research.

For reference:

[*] The Architecture document is a bit out of date in some details, but
it still gives a general overview of the approach (some support
libraries have changed, and data formats have been fleshed out).
