No, that doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling. We've seen a deluge of
worthless commentary by election officials that are technologically
illiterate. Glenda Hood, like most election officials, is simply not
qualified to evaluate a computer-based technology. This is a problem, but
not an insurmountable one. They'll eventually get it or be replaced.

Fortunately, they're not all as dim as Glenda Hood. We have a very good one
close by in Yolo County. Freddie Oakley has an engineering background and
this has really helped her to grasp the issues. I recommend the Sacramento
Bee article she wrote not long ago.
